DEVELOPMENTAL BASKETBALL LEAGUE (DBL)

INDONESIA’S BEST AND BIGGEST HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL COMPETITION

Developmental Basketball League (DBL) was established by Azrul Ananda in Surabaya. 2004. Begining in 2008. The league expanded to other parts of the nation. In 2015, DBL was held in 25 cities and in 22 provinces in Indonesia. Over 41.000 students and officials participated in DBL in 2015. DBL was watched by over 855.000 spectators. The league will continue to expand to other parts of Indonesia. And the number of spectators is predicted to exceed 1 million people per year in the next few years.

To organize DBL, PT DBL Indonesia is working with Jawa Pos Group, Indonesia’s Biggest Newspapper Network. The regional newspapers help to promote the league by providing a special page every time the competition is being held.

WORLD CLASS : Games organized by PT DBL Indonesia have become must watch events. Thousands of people flock the stadium not just to watch the basketball games, but also the entertainment programs.

SUPPORT WITH HEART : Singing school hymne after game with all school supporters is the greatest appreciation for the teams achievment.

To sustaining the growth DBL needs to keep innovating every year. It is to make the competition more attractive. The show is part of DBL which is always awaited by the spectators, these things keep DBL spectators growing every single year.

JUNIOR BASKETBALL LEAGUE (JRBL)

INDONESIA’S TOP JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL COMPETITION

Junior High School Competition was started in 2005, as supporting competition for High School League (DBL) in Surabaya, beginning in 2012, the league was spun-off, rebranded as Junior Basketball League (JRBL), and expanded to other cities in 2015, JRBL was held in sevent cities ad seven provinces in Indonesia. Over 6.000 students and officials participated in JRBL, and being watched by over 170.000 spectators. In the future, the league will expand to even more cities and provinces, following the model of the High School League.

THOUSANDS OF SPECTATORS : JRBL is the Biggest Junior High School Basketball League in the world in terms of spectators.

GROWING LEAGUE : Junior High School games attract more spectators with its fun competitive games.

GROWTH OF JRBL

Started as a curtain riser for DBL, today JRBL is growing spectacularly on its own. In 2015 the Junior High School Competition was held in seven cities. Next, the league will follow the DBL growth model, eventually being played in every region in Indonesia.
